Dr. Kyung H. Lee, Ph.D., D.O.M., L.Ac, received his M.A. degree in Far Eastern History from Sydney University, Sydney, Australia. and M.S.O.M. Degree in Oriental Medicine from Samra University, Los Angeles. Dr. Lee received a Ph.D. in Oriental Medicine from American Liberty University in Orange, CA.
He is also licensed by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with Acupuncture and Herbology.
Acupuncture One Center Founder and Director, Kyung Lee specializes in Pain Management, Infertility, Weight Control and Skin Rejuvenation.
He also treats symptoms caused by emotional and spiritual disharmony that manifest in problems such as, insomnia, depression, migraines, anxiety, and menopause.
Katie Josephson, L.Ac. is a California Licensed Acupuncturist and is also certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She earned a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego and holds a Bachelor of Arts in biology and athletic training.
During her time at Pacific College, Katie took a special interest in women's health and trained under several renowned women's health practitioners. She has an extensive background in Western medicine from her experience as an athletic trainer at Luther College and in medical research at the University of Iowa. Katie hopes that with her knowledge of Western medicine, she can help bridge the gap between the two medical traditions by educating Western healthcare practitioners and patients in the natural treatment methods offered by Oriental medicine.
Katie practices traditional Chinese medicine, encompassing both acupuncture and herbal medicine, and she incorporates nutritional counseling, massage, and home exercises into treatments. Her special interests include women's health, mental health, internal medicine, pain management, gastrointestinal dysfunction, and anti-aging/illness prevention.
