We are each a small universe….

Acupuncture is not a quick or easy fix. You may have had your problem for years and never addressed it; or you may be tired of not having any answers. We not only treat your problem, but the whole person in a unique way. This is the philosophy behind TKM (Traditional Korean Medicine) Acupuncture One Wellness Center.

There are many degrees of pain and care.
We have addressed just a few below.

Acupuncture

Acute Care: Acute care is when you have recently injured yourself and are seeking help almost immediately. This treatment method is fast and relief is instant. Corrective Care is usually the next step.

Chronic Care: Chronic care is when your symptoms have been around for a long time. It takes time and patience to bring your body back into harmony. Treatments are more frequent, with each visit building on previous treatments, as you work toward eliminating discomfort in the body.

Corrective Care: Corrective care is when signs and symptoms are decreasing, and the body is taking part in the healing process.

Wellness care: Wellness care is when treatments become less frequent and your body is partnering with acupuncture to strengthen, support, and build on the previous treatments. This phase maintains and supports the changes you have achieved, and provides a foundation for deeper healing.

Maintenance Care: Maintenance care is when you are feeling better. Treatments become monthly to help your body maintain harmony. Preventative care is another term used for maintenance, as it preserves the progress you have made, keeping you healthy and balanced. When your body is in balance and treatments are continued, acupuncture prevents problems from arising in the future.
